• Our Why

Lasting change begins beneath the surface.

Many institutions attempt to address deep-rooted inequities with surface-level adjustments. Language shifts. Statements are issued. Commitments are announced.

    Yet outcomes often remain unchanged.

When equity is treated as an initiative rather than infrastructure, harm is reproduced, and accountability diffuses.

The Overflowww exists to realign how systems operate — how decisions are made, how resources move, and how communities hold authority within the structures that shape daily life.

This work requires more than intention. It requires redesign.

  • What We Do

We work on the conditions beneath outcomes.

Outcomes are produced by structure. Governance, incentives, and decision-making authority determine what results are sustained.

When those conditions are misaligned, outcomes repeat.

We redesign those conditions within institutions and alongside communities so alignment shows up in practice, not just intention.

  • Our 3W Impact Model

The spelling is intentional. It reflects how change moves from intention to impact.

Deeply rooted problems require a structural response. When efforts remain fragmented or symbolic, outcomes repeat.

The 3W Impact Model addresses three dimensions that must move together:

    1

    Equip Institutions

Strengthen governance, internal structure, and structural accountability.

    2

    Community Authority

Center lived experience in decision-making and resource allocation.

    3

    Widespread Impact

Redesign how power and resources move to produce widespread impact.
